A credit is how Convira measures cloud model use. A short cloud Q&A uses a fraction of a credit. A long agentic run that calls many tools and reasons over a big context can use dozens.
The cost depends on the model and the prompt. The app shows your remaining balance in Settings, and Usage & Billing breaks your spending down by day and by category.
Local AI and Private Box inference don't consume credits. When the model runs on your hardware, there is no model usage for us to meter. Optional online tools such as web research and media generation still use credits when you invoke them on an eligible plan. Connector actions need Pro or above and consume credits as well.

Yes, on Local, Pro and Ultra: switch between monthly and annual billing from the billing portal in your account. Team is billed monthly. Annual saves up to 22% on individual plans - the exact saving depends on the plan and currency.
Subscription credits reset monthly and don't roll over. Top-up credits persist across periods until you use them.
No. Local AI runs the model on your machine, and Private Box runs it on a server you own, so their AI processing is unmetered. Optional online tools that Convira executes for you - web research and image or video generation - consume credits when you choose to use them on a plan that includes those tools. Connector actions need Pro or above and consume credits as well.
Buy a top-up bundle to keep going, or wait for the next monthly reset. Local AI and Private Box inference, and on-device tools, keep working throughout; cloud runs and credit-billed online tools resume as soon as you have credits again.
Local runs the model and its on-device tools on your machine, and works offline for up to 24 hours at a time once it is set up. Choose it if you want on-device AI only. Tools that reach the network, browser automation included, are on Pro and above; move to Pro or Ultra when you want hosted models, managed online tools or a Private Box.
Team starts at two seats, because what it adds is what a group shares: Team Hub, with end-to-end encrypted direct messages, group chats and bulletin boards, plus pooled credits, role-based permissions and a shared Private Box. For one person, Pro or Ultra is the better fit - more credits, and nothing to share them with.
Your plan stays fully active until the end of the period you have paid for. After that, you have a 14-day window in which you can still open and read your history.
Starting new runs, on any runtime including Local AI and Private Box, needs an active subscription. Your local data always stays on your device, and everything opens again the moment you resubscribe.

Currency is detected from your country. Everywhere in Europe sees EUR - the continent, not just the eurozone, so Switzerland, Norway, Serbia and Turkey are included. Everywhere else sees USD. Stripe confirms the final charge currency at checkout from your billing details.
