A credit is roughly a few cents of LLM spend in Convira's cloud. A short cloud Q&A burns a fraction of a credit. A long agentic run that calls many tools and reasons over a big context can burn dozens.
The cost depends on the model and the prompt. The app shows your remaining balance in Settings, and Usage & Billing breaks your spending down by day and by category.
Local AI and Private Box inference don't consume credits. When the model runs on your hardware, there is no model usage for us to meter. Optional online tools such as web research and media generation still use credits when you invoke them on an eligible plan. Connector actions need Pro or above but don't consume credits.

Yes, on Local, Pro and Ultra: switch between monthly and annual billing from the billing portal in your account. Team is billed monthly. Annual saves up to 22% on individual plans - the exact saving depends on the plan and currency.
Subscription credits reset monthly and don't roll over. Top-up credits persist across periods until you use them.
No. Local AI runs the model on your machine, and Private Box runs it on a server you own, so their AI processing is unmetered. Optional online tools that Convira executes for you - web research and image or video generation - consume credits when you choose to use them on a plan that includes those tools. Connector actions need Pro or above but don't consume credits.
Buy a top-up bundle to keep going, or wait for the next monthly reset. New cloud runs are blocked when both your subscription and top-up balances are non-positive. Local AI and Private Box inference, plus free on-device tools, keep working; credit-billed online tools remain unavailable until the balance is positive.
Local runs the model and its on-device tools on your machine. It works offline after local setup for up to 24 hours between check-ins, and carries no cloud credits. Choose it if you only want on-device AI. Tools that reach the network, browser automation included, need Pro or above. Upgrade to Pro or Ultra when you want hosted models, managed online tools, or a Private Box.
Team starts at two seats, because what it adds is what a group shares: Team Hub, with end-to-end encrypted channels, direct messages and boards, plus pooled credits, role-based permissions and a shared Private Box. For one person, Pro or Ultra is the better fit - more credits, and nothing to share them with.
Your current period continues until end-of-period. After that, you enter a 14-day grace window where existing runs are read-only - you can review history but can't start new runs. After grace, the subscription is fully locked out.
Local AI and Private Box need an active subscription too - from the first second of the grace window no new runs start on any runtime, Local AI and Private Box included. Your local data stays on your device and access returns when you resubscribe.
No. There is no free tier and no free trial. Without an active paid plan you can sign in only to manage billing - nothing runs, not even local AI. Every plan above runs local AI on your own machine, and Local is the lowest-cost way in.
Yes. Enterprise uses custom pricing and credit allocation and includes the Cloud, Local, and Private runtimes with enterprise support. Contact sales to discuss the current terms.
Currency is detected from your country. Everywhere in Europe sees EUR - the continent, not just the eurozone, so Switzerland, Norway, Serbia and Turkey are included. Everywhere else sees USD. Stripe sets the final charge currency at checkout from your billing details, so in rare cases it can differ from the price shown here. There is no currency switcher.
